Stooge frame bag

Anyone got an off the shelf half frame bag on their Stooge that fits?
If so which one?
I can see a couple that should fit but sellers say actually they wont.
Currently thinking AK large Possum but opposite way round to shown in pictures.

Pretty sure Wildcat have done a Stooge bag.

Wildcat do one that is a full frame bag, but as the Stooge frame only has one set of bottle cage mounts it would render them useless.
I use a Wildcat Ocelet, large size on mine. Fits just about spot on and you can use the bottle cage too. The large is 5 litre capacity, do should be big enough for most trips!

I've got a full Wildcat bag ... no bottle issues as Beth added a nifty carrier, which holds a bottle on top of the top-tube

The Wildcat XL fits fine. You need to tape the top tubes and other contact points but it's a good fit otherwise.

I've been thinking about getting a full frame bag made for the Stooge, but taking advantage of the twin top tubes to do something funky to mount it. Ideally I'd like to use some kind of thick rubber straps to mount it so it doesn't move at all, but as yet I've not put much effort into finding such a thing. I wonder whether strapping the braces instead of the top tubes would work, to give a really clean look?

I reckon this could be done with the aid of a thin plastic stiffener along the inside top of the bag - basically like the bolt on bags we've done, but without the bolts

Interesting... I'd be happy to be the guinea pig for that, just need to find the time to measure my frame properly as the braces are in different places depending on the age of the frame.

Is there any reason why you would not have one made-to-measure or are you hoping for an off-the-shelf frame bag?

The reason I ask is because I have recently ordered a bespoke Alpkit Stingray. It is rather nice, has a lot of options as to how it is configured and the size and shape of it etc, and only £65. I have been using it on my commutes for the last month. I carries my repair kit, waterproof over-trousers and mitts, I really like it.

I have my template for custom but as I only want a half height bag just thought that there must be one that fits.

a little late to the thread, but Beth made me a 4 framebags last year, 3 of which i sold to customers. the fit was great and she does have the template if anyone wanted one. I've been meaning to get some more from her for a while but at the moment all funds are tied up with new projects, but i now know what i'll be doing on the next batch of frames - small mounting bolts under the cross-sections for bolting on the bags that Beth will have to make me :) As an aside, back int he bike shop we repaired a few alloy frames that had lost their cage mounts, with inserts that rivet in the hole. You'd have to be handy with a drill, mind. Alasdair, you could always get them welded in if you could find a ti framebuilder.
