If you're having trouble getting a Lunar Solo then a BPWD Lair with a Pyra net inner is pretty close. If you got a Lair with an extended beak then there really wouldn't be much in it.
This set up is also fully double skinned so you can remove the inner and pack it seperately (handy when wet) or not use it at all when the winged teeth aren't a problem.
Cheers Stu - I'm going to wait a little longer for the SMD Lunar.... worth the wait for the size/weight ratio. What's the weight of the Lair you have there with the inner and poles? Is that similar to the Akto with the mesh inner I have which must ne around the 1.3kg mark all in?

All in and ready to pitch it's 800g ... remove the stuff sacks and use lighter pegs (Easton Backpackers at present) you could possibly knock 50g off that figure.
