Montbell sizing

Post by petemaz »

Anyone know what montbell 'pant' sizing is like? Accordingly to their charts I'd be a large but I'm wondering if they are perhaps the generous side with their sizes? Ordering from US so want to get it right!
Thanks

I'm normally a large top/jacket sizing is spot on.
Unfortunately I've no idea on pants.

There's a Swiss shop too rather than than buying fro the U.S.

As with Taylor, I've not got the bottoms, but the jacket sizing (medium US/EU for me) is just right.

I had a bugger of a time with their webshop. Ended up calling them (Boulder store - I was in the US at the time) and they fixed the broken web order on the spot and had the kit out in the mail the next day. If you're in the UK, I'd go with the Swiss outlet.

Remember, they're not an American company.

Yeah I think they're Japanese aren't they? That's why I wondered if the sizing might be a bit odd!

Sorry Pete, I thought you'd assumed they were American, so were expecting sizing to be a bit generous

No worries Stuart... I'm kinda inbetween sizes so find it hard getting gear that's a good fit. Troos in particular have always been a problem.
