I generally favour the 80/20 rule: 80% (riding) / 20% (pushing)

I think this ride was probably the inverse of that but Arran is a beautiful island and we were more than rewarded for our efforts.

I've done a load of climbing on Cir Mhor granite - good rock
Glen Rosa has some lovely rock pools in the river that provide a welcome cool off after the days toils.
Just to show you how long ago it was since I was last there, they were 'improving' the Glen Sannox track up to the saddle.

Glad to hear it brought back some fond memories.

Arran was always on my radar as a climber for those Classic and Hard Rock ticks. Maybe one day I'll make it up there for those as well
