Most shops will let you add to the voucher
They shouldn't let you do that as your employer owns the bike and you are renting it off them.

EBC that we're tied to definitely won't.

Which is totally correct. They're not supposed to.

I'd heard *ahem* that this used to happen. In fact 'a mate of mine' may have done this years back.

I've also heard that the companies that administer the schemes have a checking system these days and shops will be chucked off the scheme if found 'bending the rules'

If you work for a company with a credit licence (or an understanding boss) there's no reason you have to stick to the £1000 limit

For a 27.5+ bikepacking bicycle this is a rather tempting option if you don't mind 1x10. It also looks much cooler if like me you are old enough to remember when all marins had this sort of colourway

Also £450 cheaper

I'm old enough to remember! Reckon that's the nicest new bike I've seen in years.

Don't need it but it's such a bargain...

That Marin looks so good - I used to have the Pine Mtn 1990-91 in that colour : )

New Ramin will be a little while yet (Nov ETA) but will be good value, Deore 1x10 and M506 brakes, Scraper rims and folding Trailblazers etc. Hopefully same RRP as the Marin, or very close.

Cyclescheme actually highlight that you can buy a vike over a grand and top up with cash...

My last employer had a £5k limit as they had the right credit agreement
