vaguely exciting stuff Rich.
Minipips is an inspiration!
Are you in contact with Craig Madsen in NZ? His son Mac has done some big stuff as well, North to South and I think they planning on riding the Kiwi brevet next year.

Just read the whole of your blog, grinning the whole way through! What a wonderful thing to do with your lad.

Really enjoyed that, fair play to ye.
Re: HTR Blog.
Good read, sounds like you had a great time. Back to school with a bump I guess!
It's just twigged - I was the late arrival early riser in the bothy by Loc ma Stack. I though you 2 were a pair of walkers (the fire smelt good!) - I didn't spot the bikes round the back until morning.
Rickie cotter stopped in the spooky ruin - I tried to tell her the next day that it was haunted but she wasn't too phased by that.

Thanks folks.
Shame you slept in the back room Steve, it was nice and warm in there. :)
Rickie said she slept in an abbatoir one night and some public toilets another! A proper hobo.
