On which point, the new Strava flyby thing is great for seeing how many people took alternative routes....whether you actually complete the challenge route?

It also highlights just how much time I lost by getting the best night's sleep in literally years by being on top of a hill in the middle of nowhere, rather than at home with the kids, as you see the constant stream of riders coming past me while I'm still....
