I did a long tour last summer, using maps and compass. but I borrowed a mio gps from a friend. I have used a gps before but never just to follow a line. more as a navigation back up. the mio was ok, and it was great on the road.
so I need a gps. I dont want a montana/e-trex as my partner has one. so I can borrow it anytime. and I think the garmin edge is pretty expensive. both mio and bryton do maping cycling gps, and can be picked up cheap from sportspersuit etc. other than maping the only other feature I want is hrm. anyone have any experience of the above. positive negatives etc. any feed back appreciated.
thanks
chris
