My faithful Montane Velocity is on its way out and after 5 years I don't blame it! I am after a similar jacket (maybe more breathable?) in the £1-100 range. Needs to pack down small and be aroung 200-250g. Subtle colours a bonus!
I have been looking at a Bontrager eVent (in orange :( ) and a Pace eVent in grey (used, but cheap!)
So what's out there?....being out of the trade I have no idea!

Re: Superlight waterproof jacket
Slightly heavier than you were hoping for but a very good jacket at a good price.

The best jacket I've had is a Rab 'On Demand' smock, fits your criteria of weight but not price unless you can find one somewhere.

What size do you wear?
Marmot Precip are good. if your a small they are a little heavier than you wanted around 300g, but not expensive at all and full of features. worth a nose.

Re: Superlight waterproof jacket
no idea if it fits your other criteria but i just bought a Ronhill 'Trail Microlite' Jacket which is within your budget and weight range.

£29.80 and 150g
for something more waterproof (but much less breathable) i've been real impressed by my North Face 'Muddy Tracks' jacket which came in at just under £100..

Endura Equipe Helium: http://www.endura.co.uk/Product.aspx?de ... rod_id=340
£90 for a ripstop PU coated fabric jacket that's properly waterproof (until you sweat more than the fabric can handle). Packs down small enough for a jersey pocket and is a proper non-flappy racing cut with nice long back and arms.

Is it for emergency bikepacking use or normal trail wear?
Ive a Pace 3x3 which I love, but its 320g in a Md and I use it for general trail duties when the forecast is foul.
I've a Montane Featherlite H2O Velo which is 144g in Md and £60, size of apple and great cut for cycling. I use this for emergency use though.
IIRC Topeak have one that also gets great feedback for an ultralight emergency shell.
Thread here that might help-

Re: Superlight waterproof jacket
Thanks for all the info guys, I have a Montane Velo for windproof for summer rides although even with extra Nikwax it is not very water resistant!
I managed to get an Endura Convert cheap and it packs down pretty small, looks ok off the bike and you can turn it into a gillet
