So, my dads swapping his frame to a Singular Swift (blue one), what headset should he get on a budget?
Thanks
Ben

Re: Which headset?
My superstar headsets have been fine, FSA with sealed bearings OK and the new Uberbike models look nice.

Re: Which headset?
FSA always seem to be able to be picked up at a bargain price and I have never had an issue with them. I have previously picked up cheap Chris Kings headsets second hand and had a good long run out of them.

Re: Which headset?
I got one of these Ritchy headsets the other month, so far so good and you can't argue for a tenner
The only thing I'm not keen on is the plastic top cap but that's easily changed.

Re: Which headset?
Cheers for the recommendations, but what type of headset will it need? Integrated, semi-integrated etc??
Re: Which headset?
You need to know what kind of headtube it has.
Singulars website says the fork is 1 1/8" and the pictures 'look' like it will be a standard 'traditional' 33.9 dia.
If this is indeed the case you can use the SHIS EC34 / 28.6 upper and EC34/30 lower,
See here.

Re: Which headset?
On my Swift I have a FSA orbit (what it came with). Its done a most excellent job overall.
I did have to replace the angular bottom bearing after 4 years of use and abuse but spares readily available.
