"The money goes to a great cause"
Can you enlighten a newbie? I can't see anything on the Lulu page. Where does the money go to?

The money goes into a trust fund to pay for the education of Dave Blumenthals daughter. Dave was very sadly killed on the TD in 2010.Can you enlighten a newbie? I can't see anything on the Lulu page. Where does the money go to?

Re: New TD reading matter
I was riding up to Brush Mountain Lodge in TD11 and thinking of Dave B who died the year before on the other side of the mountain. I met Dave's wife Lexie there who was visiting for a few days around the anniversary and next morning briefly saw and said a few words to Linaeea before departing. Made the next mornings ride even more sad.
The autumn before I was doing some TD research in a cabin in Vermont (the weather was awful that day) and looking through some old posts on BP. Some of the posts were from DaveB and I realised that I was staying in a place he was a volunteer at and not far from his home which was our holiday jaunt the next day.

Re: New TD reading matter
Cordillera V6 turned up yesterday, read Chicken Legs interview already ... good stuff.
I did notice that more money goes to the 'good cause' if you buy the Lulu print version rather than the Kindle version ... due to Amazon being robbing b'stards.
