How hard are the Welsh bog trots, compared to pushing your bike up Cross Fell from Kirkland. Twice?

No idea ... just expect the worst and hope for the best would be my advice.

I have climbed Cross Fell numerous times in both directions but have never done the BB200. I reckon Welsh bog trotting will be worse.
On a side note, is Greg's Hut bothy still a tip or has it been improved? To be honest it wouldn't take much but it is a long time since I was last there.

There's been some minor work there in the last few months but it was looking in need of some big love when I passed through last year.
