Re: salsa mukluk??
My only concern is that when Muks & Pugsleys were the only obvious option they were £1500 bikes. Now even the OO Fatty is looking expensive with something like the Charge Maxi 2 at £850 , Silverback at £750 or Felt around £800.
With a Muk at £650 with a week to go you might as well go new. Imho of course.

Re: salsa mukluk??
I've got a Mukluk, not really got much to compare it against apart from one ride on a OO Fatty
Quite simply its FANTASTIC !!!!
I ride it loads on the beach, cross country, trail centres and I've even done a bit of bikepacking with it (although I'd prefer to be a bit fitter)
Only problem is since I've got it we've had no snow !!!
happy bidding

Re: salsa mukluk??
Bought a Mukluk in January and love it but a few observations first;
-As far as I can see, the only rack that fits it is Salsa due to the alternator tensioner on the frame. These will set you back £90
-Check the year it's from. 2013 and before and the front disc brake is spaced at 135mm disc rear hub, whilst post 2013 models use 135 front hub spacing (if that makes sense). Could get expensive, as it did for me, if you get the wrong front hub
-I was a bit worried the frame being aluminium (all my other bikes are steal) but in reality, those big, soft wheels probably make the bike ride nice
Other than that, fat bikes see great fun

Love my Mukluk (mark 1 with pannier rack mounts) it's great for all day rides, beach and dines fun as well as fatpacking trips.
I had and sold my On One Fatty as it was more of a trail bike and I was using it over my prefered trail bikes.
On ukfatbike forum someone from Cannock has just put up a nearly new 9 zero 7 for sale at £1300 might be worth making them an offer.
