You don't know what make that kids fat bike is do you ... or who had it? I'd like a pair of rims for a fat bike shopper project

Yeah, it was a Sonic Bulk. They had two 20" bikes, one with discs the other without.
Muddy Fox have also got one due for release next Spring which has a 16" wheel, it was a prototype, haven't got pics of that though...

Me and the ManChild just got back. Twas a very nice day out hardly ruined at all by the traffic back home. Per above, there were more fat bikes than ever, even without a Surly stand (that I could see anyway) and not a shred of evidence that bike packing actually exists. It must be hugely expensive to get space in one of the stands though so I cant blame the local kit makers.

Another thing that struck me was the lack of 26ers. There were very few last and year and I couldnt find any this year so it's a dead category as far as the industry is concerned, and if we thought that keeping our current 26ers going wont be a problem for years and years, Im not so sure. Took me a while to find a new Reba fork with a straight steerer recently and its only going to get harder. Poop.

My boy rode one of those 20 inch fat bikes a fun as it looked he said it was awful - steers like a boat, the gearing was a mess and it's stupidly heavy for a kids bike. Everyone was clamouring for a go on them though.
I'm just going outside ...
