Power Bank with pass-through charging

Post by JohnClimber »

I've realised if I am going to get a dynamo hub I'm going to buy a new Power Bank but one with a "pass-through charging" ability.

The Maplin's one that I've got http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/lithium-ion-6 ... bank-n48lk doesn't give off charge when it has power going into it.

So, which units Power Bank available here in the UK has the "pass-through charging" capability which gives off charge while charging at the same time?

Thanks

The 7dayshop one is OOS for now. :(

I got a 2200mah one from B&M which does but its a small battery and slow to charge my phone. It can keep pace with the phone though.

Mountainbaker's Anker unit (from Amazon) does but don't know if they all do....

Yeah, that Anker one is great, as it has a 2A output, which charges stuff fast, but it's a brick. Great if you don't have a revo (I don't). But if i had a revo, I guess a small duracell one, I got one in tesco, it can charge and be charged simultaneously

I've started using an anker 3000 with sp hub it appears to charge and discharge at the same time. But that's a guess based on how many percent it will charge when used with the hub or not.
