I often ride without ID but being encouraged to carry something, should something go wrong....

Thoughts or any recommendations for ID tags

Road ID
Had one for quite a few years now.
I have the the ankle version(4+ years) as the wrist one seems a bit fragile from experience(just under a year until disintegration).

I know of quite a few that stick one of these on their helmet..

Also worth setting up the I.C.E wallpaper with an emergency contact number on your phone if it's possible..

I rarely ride without my Garmin and/or my phone. I've put my home number on the power-on screen of the former and my ICE details are in the latter.

I have a wristband (for when I'm road biking) and tag on my various mtb packs from onelife id.

I've had one of these on my helmet since I reviewed it last year.

I carry my outdated EIHC card in a little wallet with a credit card and my phone. When I remember I open the 'Ride ID' app on my mobile. This gives the phone numbers of two next of kin.

Two weeks ago I was helping on registration at the Trans Continental race and we had to note down insurance details in case things went wrong. A few people showed me these:
