Anyone else use drops off road? The bar end thread got me thinking ... obviously drops offer lots of hand positions and don't feel quite as odd as they look.
I'll admit to this, first with WTB Dirtdrops / Speccy RM-2 (dirt drops) and then when WTB point blank refused to make any more dirt drops I broached the subject with Brant at On-One...and the Midge was born!
Loved the Midge (even with big hands, the short ends were not an issue) and I found the Salsa Wood Chippers pretty nice too (more for cross than "proper" off-road) but I am now on Jones bars and Surly Openbars both with ergon grips. Do the job and no geeky stems / head tubes!
