I'm not really one for kit lists but I thought it might be a good idea to make one for the first time.

Bike - On One Lurcher 29er, with SP dynamo hub for the Revo light. Combined with the Sinewave revolution for general recharging duties for the Garmin Edge800, Phone, Joystick (helmet light) and cameras if I get on one making another film of the trip.

Sleeping Kit
Vango Venom 300
Alpkit Hunka XL
Peak Oyl Lite Mat
Aplkit Rig3.5 tarp
2 thirds of one of Stu's long poles.
Pegs

Eating/cooking
Vango Folding Gas Stove
Gas canister
vSmall cooking pot
Small insulated mug
Sawyer mini water filter + pouch
Ti Spork

Sleeping/evening clothes
1 long sleeve base layer
1 merino socks
1 baggy shorts
1 down jacket
1 hat
1 leg warmers

Ride kit - Generally I'll have this on from the start.
merino socks
Padded bibs
Water proof shorts
Short sleeve base layer
arm warmers
wind proof gilet
Helmet

Other bits
Life Systems head torch (might not bother this time and just use the helmet light)
1 waterproof jacket
1 buff

Camera gear
Depends on what I feel like doing come the evening before and the weather forecast.

Tools/spares
break pads
hex set
CO2 with 2 cartridges
1 inner tube
couple of other bits er....

Same kit as last year but with a warmer down jacket and Thermartex blanket. I won't be starting with 2 days food either but intend to pick up food along the way. Last year I came back in with 250g's of the most well travelled trail mix ever.

If Stu re-orders the sunshine this year, I'll take the myog bivi tarp combo but in the unlikely event of it raining I may take the Rig7.
