Solstice Campout

Post by Loki »

Hey all, I have been lurking here for a long time now, I was starting to get imposter syndrome and I was very envious of all the trips and adventures you have all been having, I will say thank you to all who have posted, your trips have kept me going through some very dark times and I am forever in your debt for that. So after roughly three and a half years I finally was well enough to get back out bivvying, I have linked to my blog so it is takes up less bandwidth and well, saves me typing it all out again. I hope you enjoy the read, it is not a tail of epic traverses or the highest mountain passes, just a bloke being helped my friends to overcome a terrible illness and try and get back to some form of the life he had before.

My days! It's difficult to comprehend what you must've been going through these past years! Amazing that you're back on the bike and under the canvas :-bd

I'll look forward to reading of your future trips as the situation continues to improve

What John said. Welcome back!

(FYI, none of the photos following the 'It hit 10pm …' paragraph are displaying for me).

:-bd Well that's given pause for thought. Good luck with the ongoing bivvy therapy  .

Thanks all, I am having issues posting images to Blogger, I am having to use Google to store them for the moment, I used to be able to directly link via Flickr but that appears to be broken now, hoping to find a better system later.
