Recommend Me a Mosquito Net.

Post by Ray Young »

I'm looking for a full length, lightweight mosquito net to hang under a silwing tarp, any recommendations?

I've not actually used one Ray but the Sea to Summit Nano looks like a winner.

It's a bit more expensive than some others but weighs well under 100g, packs down to nothing and keeps the midges out (not all nets do).
May the bridges you burn light your way

How might you bicycle one of these up under a rig7 or rig3.5?

Not quite decided yet. Pegging the bottom end may allow you to attach it to the front pole on a short line. If that doesn't work then add an attachment point to the underside of the tarp or run a line under the ridge line between the poles. I'll figure something out.

I'd be interested to see some pictures of how other people have rigged up bug nets, if they have them to post.
