I got a return flight with bag on IcelandAir to just shy of £280.00.
Seriously contemplating a trip this Summer now. Might try the F26 up from Gulfoss to Bloundos. Roughly 160km of cinder road across the interior with fewer river crossings than others. Plus some rather pleasing hot pools to ease the achey bits in on the way. Haven't decided what to do when I get to Bloundos though... Could catch a bus to Jokulsarlon on the SE coast and ride back to Keflavik from there, or just turn around and ride back down the F26...
