Exposure light diameter

Post by Gari »

Just looking for the diameter of exposure lights such as the Diablo etc, I have just for a cheap LED torch and was wondering about getting one of the exposure bar mount things. Anyone here got one that could maybe measure for me?
Thanks.

Just thrown a ruler across my joystick  ... and it's 23mm ±1mm.

Thanks Stu, think that may do it.
Light was bought for a fiver in Blacks here in town, not sure how bright but I reckon about 200 lumens, good enough as an emergency bike packing light to get one to the camp spot/home off the hill I reckon.

The exposure flash and trace are a smaller diameter FYI. Can measure that tomorrow morning if you want.

Always found these to be quite versatile (may or may not be the sort of thing you're after):

Though other suppliers may exist

Exposure Trace/R (also flash and flare) have a diameter of 18mm.

Seems a bit pricey for just the bracket though... http://www.wiggle.co.uk/exposure-flash- ... -and-band/

Thanks guys, think the fenix bracket will do the job. @Zippy, pricing is ok just not sure of the durability of a rubber band out in the boonies!

It's silicone - been using one for commuting every day (take it on/off every day in the office and leave it on when it's stored overnight) for the past couple of years and it's been fine. Had the same reservations myself initially actually.

It will probably fail tomorrow now
