Thrane and Thrane Explorer 500 BGAN Inmarsat Data Terminal Modem
Ideal for giving you high speed internet access wherever you need it, using the Inmarsat Satellite network. It has USB/Ethernet and Bluetooth connection options. You can also use it for making and receiving calls.
It has had very limited use and still has the original clear plastic strip on the screen.

The explorer is approx. £3000 new and sell used for approx. £650 upwards.
It's supplied with A Iridium 9555 Satellite Phone. In as new condition, it still has the original screen plastic cover on it. It was purchased in for emergency/occasional use on a trip and as such it has a total talk time of only 5m 39 seconds. It has only been switched on for approximately 8-10 hours in total. YOu can also connect it to a computer for use as a Data Modem.
