WTD: Old shock and 26” fork

Post by CJR61 »

Rebuilding an old Saracen frame as a little project to keep me sane.

Does anyone have a shock gathering dust?

Ideally looking for 200/50 but reckon 190 would work too. For a fun project so minimal budget and no urgency. Not too bothered about brand and happy to repair if it’s knackered or needs a service.

26” fork around 140 mm travel would be nice too. Similar thrifty approach as above.

Thanks Chris

I have an old 26" Marzocchi Z1 Bomber gathering dust in the shed. No idea what the travel on it is, but pretty sure it's less than 100mm...
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

I'm currently waiting on a decision from Jamis about a crash replacement frame price. If they say no, then I'll probably have a rear RockShox Monarch shock going.
