Haribos - Who eats Gummy Bears?

Post by Farawayvisions »

I know that a lot of cyclists eat Haribos but they're not really my thing. I received a couple of complimentary packets from wiggle (when I received the Marathon Mondials). They are not suitable for vegetarians so I stuffed them into my gear. After eating a few, I decided that the gumminess was annoying and left my mouth dry and that was the end of eating them. I didn't realise how lucky I was until I read these reviews this morning.

Warning - Sugar free Haribo Eaters.

I can't really see the point in eating sugar free ones while riding :?

I never buy haribo, they always strike me as being cheap and nasty. Liquorice allsorts or jelly babies for me. Or sometimes chocolate nuts and raisins.

I'm a Haribo tangfastics man myself. There is something about the sour explosion that helps wake you up a bit before the sugar kicks in.

+1 love tangfastics. Got a bit of an addition going at work and had to wean myself off. Am close to starting a Haribo Anonymous group.

Jelly babies for me, although I do have the occasional flutter with haribo.

I can heartly NOT recommend Morrisions own tangtastics, they are ming and stick to your teeth like poo to a blanket.

My personal sweetie fix is a Fox's Glacier Fruit.
