FS: Wahoo ELMNT BOLT (sold)

Post by redefined_cycles »

Screen has some of thar bleeding/smudging but its not got any worse in the last half a year or so of my ownership. Works fine and routes can be followed without problem (some zooming sometimes helps but not a bother).

Pics are in this strava post Check out my activity on Strava: https://strava.app.link/YfjBAuz9zwb (if you cannot see them I'll see about attaching to this thread).

Open to offers and all money is going to feed/cloth the orphans of Syria. Thanks...

Just to put a number on the kind of price I was hoping for... around £30 maybe

There first 2 or 3 pics are from when I bought it half a year ago and hopefully demonstrates the bleeding screen doesn't need any blood thickening

Not sure if I mentioned already but it comes with a full month warranty to ensure the next buyer has full satisfaction and peace of mind...

These below pics were taken during todays ride as it's the only gps I currently own (well, the new BOLT arrived by the time I returned home).

To give an idea on battery health. I departed for todays ride with about 91%. Returned around 2.5 hours later and it was down to 61% or so. I calculated it as 25% down at the time and that's with heart rate (Polar H10 chest strap) and a dual sided power meter running (Ultegra R8000/GIANT). Back light was off and I didn't fiddle with the screen too much. Just a few zooms in and out and a few scrolls through the screens to see elevation/mileage...

Yes. I got thar advise from someone else too Al... I'll do that shortly too and see if they get back to me soon. Hoping to save up for a v2 ROAM so even if they add some discount it might well be worth it.

Will leave the sale up fornthe meanwhile and see how it goes...

As Al (Escape Goat) advised, I contacted the nice people at Wahoo who have sent me a discount code for a new unit. No point me keeping 2 x BOLT v1 as my spares.

Hence this has to go. Minimal to free is the new price. Prefer someone pays delivery though and it's best being in use than sat in a cupboard with myself. The unique product code (what's that called again!) will be scrubbed off. Wahoo didn't ask me to destroy the unit so can't see it being a problem to recycle the unit and keep it in use...
