18 Bikes are doing a tandem for Keep Pedalling in Manchester. Shona and Rich are doing the gravel race on it I think.

How's the chest Roy?

Is Chas Roberts still building?
What about Dave Yates, he's just up the road in Lincolnshire, you could even go on his course and build it yourself!
What happened to Farquar, I think they were near us in Naarfuck.
Curtis would be worth a look as we'll.

As far as I know Dave Yates only does courses and it's either MTB or road bike, no tandems.

I am currently at an early stage of designing a time trial titanium tandem for a pair of local riders. As John said earlier I do like my little off shoot projects.

I would be happy to offer an advice on the build...without an pressure to go through me.

and no I do not use XACD for my frames. I have worked with Porter in the past on a few projects...he can be a character. ;)

Cheers All - most useful to have some 'possibles'
(Background to the switch; While XACAD did a fine job on my 29" & it was actually quite fun/a challenge dealing with Porter , but by comparison to this project that bike was simple. With this there are just sooo many things that could go wrong & having someone 'local' could give me the confidence to go ahead with it (bit of a confidence failure as I look at the drawings currently.) Then 'why go to 'steel'? This is intended to go places where fixing Ti in a hurry isn't an option (anywhere further than walking distance from the welder really), so a bit of a weight penalty in exchange for the possibility to fix is OK

(update for tommid - chest is 'improving' )
