Re: PSA Fred Bars
I have a set of these gathering dust in the garage if anyone interested?
Bought last year from this very forum, but other than fitting them to conclude they would work just fine, haven't actually used them
Includes Profile Tri-bars

Re: PSA Fred Bars
Now ... I played about with a Fred Bar copy last year (not made by me) and I reckon the design could be better. Most people wanting one will already have their bike set up how they want it but adding a Fred bar means you either have to lower your stem, fit a new stem with a lower stack-height or buy new forks with a longer steerer ... I don't think any of those options are ideal.
Also, they don't offer a massive height gain, so the position of the aero-bars can still feel a touch too low.
It would be pretty easy to re-design it so it could be fitted to any bike without altering your position or needing to buy new parts ... it would also allow the aero-bars to be set higher. Maybe I should get some machined?

Or add some small extensions and pads to a Jones Loop bar? http://www.englishcycles.com/custombike ... vide-ride/ I like this solution.
