What are you listening to now?

Re: What are you listening to now?
Picked up Alva Noto + Ryuichi Sakamoto with Ensemble Modern – utp_ on vinyl yesterday. Along with Daniel Avery's latest and Black Sabbath. I could've finished converting the MTB to that bouncy fork with the amount I've spent on vinyl in the last couple of months...

There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

Still collecting covers of Angel Of The Morning here. Really quite taken with this version from all-female screamers Tijuana Sweetheart. Just played it five times in a row. Sigh. I'm in lurve. Again.

Vinyl you say? These platters were spun earlier on today...

Wish you were a Bear by the Cycle Sluts, how appropriate is that!
Could do with a bit more of a tune though but I'm just an old-fashioned girl.

Re: What are you listening to now?
That is an image that I am battling valiantly to push out of my mind.
And losing.
Still, Sham 69 live at 'Venue 229' in Great Portland Street tomorrow night (sorry Dave). I would imagine Mr Pursey will be somewhat less easy on the eye than a bunch of, er, Barenaked Ladies. So I'm just going to concentrate on him now and save myself an ice-cold shower.
PS. Friday Pedantry Alert: surely, bare is naked and naked is bare, so for economy's sake why aren't they just the Bare Ladies or the Naked Ladies?
PPS. Is it Wobble this weekend? What'll be on your headphones going round? (*)
(*) actually, nothing hopefully. I do not understand the concept.

You win!
Dollies @ Rotterdam. Hmm. Scumbash? 5th February? Bit of a chilly bike ride this time
.
Me pal Lord Jezzer (yes, of Bell End) tried the Ramonas the other day. I see they're on in Bedford just up the road on December 16th.

Fill your boots Reg, whatever floats your boat...

Don't think much of mine tbh

Riding with headphones? Not for me.... I usually have one or two songs going round in my head though, but on the Wobble I reckon I'll be mostly listening to the dulcid tones of Tom's lovely Ystradgynlais accent (the electrician, remember?), and/ or Frankie (the plumber) being quiet...

Had this on vinyl way back then, it disappeared in the way of a number of my records when I was flat sharing and all and sundry used to come round.
Re: What are you listening to now?
I plucked this out of the quantic at the discoteca 303 mix

and so, foolishly, forwards to the pit....

... which by some miracle I survived. At least I assume I did because no [Bear] bones seem to be broken. Well nothing that won't mend anyway. Given time. Four men down, and one lassie. Managed to rescue them all so good clean fun was had
. Three surfers also transported without serious mishap. Madness really. Hey ho.

Well he's actually a very unlordly plain old Jeremy Bell, aka Jezzer, aka Jezebel. Or indeed Lord Jezzer of Bell End. I know, it's embarrassing isn't it. Grown men too.

"If you're easily offended by skin, freedom, strong language and violence, now's your time to get the f* off".
Also reserving judgment here. Talking of skin, I'm not entirely convinced by the skills of their skin-whacker at the back there. Was worth a look though.
