Wanted 26er SS frame (OT sort of)
I'm probably going to regret this but I want to build up an SS 26er for using on a pump track
It must be cheap, steel and have slotted drop outs and disk brake mounts. Ideally an inbred SS - in fact I have an inbred 26er with vertical drop outs which I could 'convert' (i.e.cut 'n' shut) but I'd rather not so I could swap this for one with horizontal drop outs. For pref an 18" seat tube but if you have a smaller one I may be interested too. The rougher the better and if it's cracked I can weld it so no probs.
If anyone could recommend a good healthcare provider I'd also be interested....

Hi Phil
I have a steel charge stove SS frame in black. Not sure if it's disc. Can send some pics tomorrow.
Cheers Stuart

I've got a very lightly used Banshee Scratch frame. 26" or 24" wheels, ss or geared and fitted with Gusset 3pc steel cranks with MTB spider. What you got Stu?

Looks interesting Stu but maybe a bit too jump oriented for me, although I like the idea of a frame that is indestructible... I'll keep looking for an On one or similar frame for a bit (or fit a singualator to the one I have to test the concept!) and mebbes get back to you if I draw a blank.
Sqibjib - that link didn't come through??
Cheers

No trouble Phil. I did use it for a short while as a 'trail' bike, so a little less 'jumpy' that you'd think.

I don't use my PT bike much anymore - built up Dialled Holeshot. If you were interested in a full bike let me know and I can provide details and discuss price.
Re: Wanted 26er SS frame (OT sort of)
Sorry the link I sent was for a DMR but I think it was just an old frame stickered up to be a DMR as it was alloy hmm don't remember alloy DMR's but that's eBay for you.

Ideally I'd like something I could notionally pedal too somewhere so 17" is min
I've loads of 26er stuff lying about so just need a frame - tah for offer thoughCheeky Monkey wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 11:26 am I don't use my PT bike much anymore - built up Dialled Holeshot. If you were interested in a full bike let me know and I can provide details and discuss price.

If your interested I have a genesis io . Steel, sliding drop outs , 26” wheel
Should be 18” frame and original forks , full bike all working .
If you work it out how to get it to you it’s yours as it needs getting out of my way .
I can send pic if you want

Re: Wanted 26er SS frame (OT sort of)
Still ruminating, sorry to procrastinate!
Burty, I'd still prefer a frame as I'm trying to avoid more bits I might not use but will bear in mind. Just missed a local inbred SS so going to hang on a bit longer for another...
Tah for looking for me all
