I'm after an Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL, anyone one got one going spare...?

Guessing you're looking for an improvement over the original pump, but if it's just to replace a lost pump, I have one that I never use since I made my own pump bag, that you're welcome to. I'm not trying to offload all my old gear on you, promise!

Re: WTD: Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL
I have the pump that came with the mat, plus I have a pump pillow; that deflates slowly over a few hours. Looking for a Schnozzel to double up as a dry bag, pump and pillow, would like to pick up an unused / unloved one.

Mmm.. not quite convinced... tried it and air came out very quickly so was left with a bag of fleeces as a pillow.... guess only needs to stay air 'tight' long enough to act as a pump... obv if you're happy with a bag of clothes then probably fine

So I went back to a pillowpump used as, well, a (comfy, for me) pillow and, er, pump

That was sort of the plan, it would probably be better than all my cycling clothing rolled up in my synthetic jacket; which was pretty uncomfy on last weeks outing.
I've never really got on with the pillow pump, can never get the inflation correct...

Still looking for a Schnozzel, if anyone has one down the back of the sofa they don't need...

I made my own using a schnozzle link that I bought, simply attached to a dry bag that I had.

What's a pillow pump!? Pls..
My lungs take a good beating when inflating my Thermarest neo thingy light... So have been thinking of alternate methods to pump it too but not too bothered about a pillow. Maybe that electric inflator is the way forward for me...

I did not know those existed... Shame I don't have a large, but lightweight, dry bag to attach one too. Might just have to stump up and buy one, as the cost of an appropriate dry bag and that link is even more money...javatime wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 1:22 am I made my own using a schnozzle link that I bought, simply attached to a dry bag that I had.

One of these Shaf, it attaches to Exped mats though...

Thanks Bob. No good to me then as I'd never buy Exped (too happy with Thermarest and my last mini Exped died quickly including a drybag).
