Wtd: 29er fork (prong or similar)
Ok proper long shot, but stranger things have happened on here…
Bought Andy’s stooge frame in a rash moment and looking for a carbon fork to fit.
I’ve got a Prong on the Salsa and love it, but sadly the steerer is cut too short for a 140mm head tube.
So, anyone sitting on a decent carbon fork with a long steerer they’d part with?
Pref, non-boost but I know there are ways round that.

Are stooges not designed for a particular, long, offset fork?
Re: Wtd: 29er fork (prong or similar)
I got a message from Andrew at Stooge - was told the frame was designed around a 55mm offset fork. I think it’s the mk4 where the geometry get wacky(er).

I'm running one of these which seems good, 55mm offset too, although boost.
You might be able to get an offer out of Steve!

Fork looks intriguing and £50 cheaper than the Prongs. What is the ride like?whonickedmename wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 9:18 am I'm running one of these which seems good, 55mm offset too, although boost.

It works like a carbon fork! I've used it both loaded up for an overnighter and general trail riding. It's been fine for both.
I think it is the same as the Selcof fork which Planet X use on some bikes (but don't sell separately)...

I went with the Olsen one as the offset was what I was after (and Steve did indeed offer a discount

Those ak forks are identical to the whisky No9 and less than half the price. I do need some rigids for a trip in a few months. Thanks for sharing the link!
