Anyone keen for Lakes 200 early May bank holiday?

Post by ianfitz »

I'm planning on riding this as part of prep for the HT550. Was thinking of starting on the Saturday morning of the early May bank holiday. Getting in a bit of late hike-a-bike practice!

Wondered if anyone else may be keen for a low key mass start. I know the cairngorm loop has a mass start that weekend too. But it's a long drive and I'd like to savour the cairngorm loop another time :-)

I'm sure it's the same weekend as the WRT so there may be a few doing that.

Build it and they'll come ;)
I'm sure if you set a formal start time/location you'll get some interest. Might be worth checking with Alan, although i'm sure he wont be fussed.

Yes the WRT is on the same weekend, but it would be a very different event.
