Freshening Up a Sleeping Bag

Post by Chew »

Thinking my down bag may need a bit of tlc after lots of use and days spent cramed into a dry bag on multiday trips.

It always gets a good air after a trip and is always stored uncompressed, but the down is slightly clumping together.

Is it just a case of popping it in a tumble dryer with a few tennis balls for 2-3 minutes at a time?
Think the one at home my be too small so is it a case of finding a friendly laundrette?
Anything to be careful of?
