As they mention road bikes I'm assuming a 29er wheel will fit in the "wheel bit" of this bag?
Any thoughts generally on the quality etc.?

I've got one, not used it for a few years but I seem to remember it is pretty snug with a 26" and a decent volume tyre.
Re: Planet X Deluxe Bike Bag
I have the CRC one which is identical I hear. Had it since 2007, been in and out the car numerous times with numerous bikes. I reckon you could squeeze a 29er in it...but I don't know for sure. Had 700c wheels and bikes in there, and the biggets is probs my trek fuel ex (26 inch wheels, medium size).
If you want everything to fit inside, you'll have to actually unbolt the bars etc, but generally I just put them in and let the handlebar and saddle stick out a bit so I don't have to bolt it back together again.
It keeps the car a lot cleaner than without it.

How do you get the 40% discount, is there a discount code? On the website they're listed the normal price
Re: Planet X Deluxe Bike Bag
The code is UKDEC06 but it went in automatically when I added one to the basket. It's only on the Cobweb, Flowery and Grey & Orange ones, not the black. The grey one is Cobweb by the way, which is the one I would go for.

A gentleman, thankyou. I can't help whether 29" wheels will fit but 2 of those means flying with our tandem should be less risky now.
