OT-winter/indoor hobbies

Now that the nights are drawing in, what does everyone do to pass their time? It's all too easy to sit in front if the TV everynight!

Obviously I still ride in the winter and do night riding etc, but sometimes it's good to chill in the house with a coffee. I've been thinking of airfix for a while but have never got round to buying a set

Having purchased my first house in June this year, the same keep me very busy too!

I also have a PS3, which is far too much of a distraction when it comes to getting out on my bike.

I tinker with bikes. Weigh my gear and attach / detach it to bikes.

Stare at maps, plan routes, read crazyguyonabike journels and think of places I want to go.

Sometimes play xbox. Mainly F1

I've got 5yr old twins and totally echo what Cheeky said

They take up a lot of time but wouldn't have it any other way :D

Enthusiastically writing pages of complex, elaborate cross training plans that include serious weight training, fell running, cross country skiing, ashtanga yoga and meditation, screwing the paper up into a ball and throwing it very precisely into the bin while opening another can of Guiness.

Jokes! Yes, I do bake bread, sometime in the house, sometimes in the cob oven out in the field, about once a week. Most of my hobbies seem to be outdoors. I guess that's a result of working indoors, I always want to be outside as much as possible. I also recently learnt how to use a sewing machine, made my own bar/seat packs for BB200, and have made a frame bag for my touring bike. I also enjoy staring at fire a lot in the winter months.
