When road racing was cool!

I don't care what anyone says, road racing isn't cool but in 1928 it was and they didn't have tarmac ... sound familiar? It even looks familiar, I mean look how dirty and knackered he looks ;)

I love those of olds photos, certainly puts racing of today in a different light.

Smoking's not cool either kids but I've got this tdf poster famed and hanging my the wall.

Back in the day derailleurs were banned. The riders had two gears on each side of the rear wheel and had to stop to turn wheel round when they came to a hill.

Fancy descending the Tourmalet with spoon brake? We are a bunch of wimps...
