Lip guards for pot edges, anywhere in the UK?
I know that folk use silicone charity bands around the top of their pots to stop them burning their lips but my pot is too big. I've seen these hot lips on the web http://www.snowpeak.com/cookware/backpa ... h-001.html from Snow Peak but I can't find anywhere that has them or similar in the UK ... any ideas?
May the bridges you burn light your way

This "high-temp silicone 'P' profile" seems like the perfect stuff:

I think if you cut the desired length and slice along where the tube meets the inside of the flat edge, it should hook right onto any size pot? As long as it's 100% silicone it should be food safe.
I'll keep a look out for other sources and let you know what I find.

It's wierd, but I never seem to have this problem. By the time my drink is cool enough to get anywhere near my gentle lips the mug has cooled well below what I consider to be hot. I know a lot of people use those bands though.
Another few grams saved eh :D
Can't you use a big elastic band?
