FS: MH Spirit SL waterproof down sleeping bag (again).

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

I'm trying this again.

Reason 1 - The nights are starting to get that little bit colder and there's that certain 'back to school' feel in the air each morning.

Reason 2 - Given the high degree to paranoia that surrounds not getting a down bag wet, I can't believe no one has tried to bite my hand off, give me their first born child or offer to pay more than I'm asking to become the proud owner of this bag.

Remember it's WATERPROOF ... the implications, given the applications are immense ;)

Anyway, it's a Mountain Hardwear Spirit SL. Conduit shell, welded seams and baffles and heavily storm flapped zip (these bits make it waterproof). 0 degree rating, bestest 800fp down, compression sack and mesh storage bag. AFAIK the only waterproof bags readily available at present are CRUX Torpedoes and they start at something like £480

£130 delivered to your door or any door you give me the address for - I'm not fussy.
