As no one else has signed up for my Clocaenog Forest bivi ride, I'm in two (or three) minds about changing it (again - I'm in one of those sorts of don't really care where moods)
So, tomorrow I'm picking up my mate who lives East of Warrington and I'm thinking it would be quicker to get to the North West Peaks just the other side of Manchester, rather than Clocaenog.
Has anyone got any ideas of good places to ride and bivi as well as places to avoid please?
Cheers :?:

John, get yourself to Chinley (plenty of parking) then head up over Peep o' day. From there you can either descend down towards Hayfield or New Mills ... there's plenty to go at.
Think I've a gpx somewhere, I'll email it across soon as I find it.
EDIT: Route sent.

Cheers Stuart,
Got it and it looks good, I might do a mix and match.
Depending on tomorrows rain there may even be a plan c or d to avoid the worst of it.
