I’m not worried enough by coronavirus (not worried at all, actually) to start taking
extra precautions. Reasons? I’m already past the “span of a man” at three score years and eleven, so wouldn't be losing all that much if I were to peg it. And, there are a lot worse things to die of (thinking cancer or MS, or any number of horrible drawn-out ways to die) than a relatively quick one like flu - losing my marbles and ending up in nappies in a care home like my pore 'ole mum, for one. Anyway, some thousands of people die of ordinary seasonal flu every year. I might be one of them
There’s a polish saying that roughly translates as “If you were born to be hanged, then you won't drown”. But that's just me. If I was young, with family & kids depending on my life, it would of course be a different matter.
For now, so far, so good eh!
