MYOG Forum - opinions
Would the mods consider a separate MYOG forum board on the website?

Re: MYOG Forum - opinions
My own opinion is that it isn't really needed. I reckon the more sub boards a forum has, the more trouble it is to navigate round.Would the mods consider a separate MYOG forum board on the website?
The above is just my opinion though, so more than happy to hear what anyone/everyone else thinks about it.

I agree.s8tannorm wrote:My own opinion is that it isn't really needed. I reckon the more sub boards a forum has, the more trouble it is to navigate round.
Is there a particular reason for asking? Whilst there has been some useful stuff on here I don't see it as being a place where there is a lot of really comprehensive MYOG info, compared to hammockforums.net or other sites.

I agree too. I can only think of a handful of MYOG posts on here.
Come to think of it... Ray have you finished those cushions yet?

I agree too. I might maybe say as the occasionaly topic deemed quite useful and maybe reference worthy could be made a sticky or in a special "guides" board which is simply forum threads moved accross. Things like MYOG and how-to's, or good report write up's maybe end up in this forum.s8tannorm wrote: I reckon the more sub boards a forum has, the more trouble it is to navigate round.
.
Maybe...it's an idea, I don't know if I've hought it through properly :?

Re: MYOG Forum - opinions
Apologies for bringing this subject back but while I agree with your last sentence completely there are more and more very useful MYOG gear and mods to kit posts appearing here and they disappear down the General Banter page very quickly with the amount of traffic.s8tannorm wrote:My own opinion is that it isn't really needed. A MYOG page would make them all a lot easier to find and only make five sub boards (I think)

+1 for a separate MYOG forum. Could have sticky threads for sources of materials, buckles and such without crowding the general forum.
Re: MYOG Forum - opinions
another +1 for a separate thread on this.. i'm really into MYOG at the mo, down booties, frame & saddle bag, wood burning stoves etc.. love it

Well those who shout loudest, etc
I'll get something added when we have the site reshuffle.

I had trouble finding the mod to a bivi bag although, to be fair, it took me a while to remember it was on this forum

Re: MYOG Forum - opinions
The anticipated re-shuffle is still on the cards, so a MYOG section will have to wait a little longer, sorry.
