Nice blog. Liked the boris post so much that I even +1'd it.

Curious why didn't you opt for your fantasticmrmatt moniker though?

Nice blog, Matt. Added as a follower.

If I might dd another one to the blogroll, mine is HERE. No bikepack trips in there just yet, but an ultramarathon, some adventure races and a fair dose of drivel for good measure.

Another great blog Pyro I should have started mine up regarding my return to fitness - there's an idea in the making?

A real thought maker doing endurance running, so many pursuits I don't know about but I could possibly do :D

Cheers Valleydaddy! The running I've kind of fallen into by default. I adventure race and running's been my weakest discipline for a long time, since a badly fecked ankle in 2004, in fact. The Ultra had been 6 months of focus and training, and the blogs have been a great motivator for that - see the Janathon and Juneathon concepts, run and blog about it every day for a month. Watching other people's blogs and getting feedback on your own activity can be a great help.

I've only started running in the past year to help the bike fitness and was really getting into it before I went and dislocated my knee :( 11 weeks has passed since I did it and I am busting to do stuff, just started walking comfortably in the past week or so therefore I really need to get my fitness back and build and push on from there, I think this injury has motivated me to become as fit as possible and really change my outlook on life, maybe the time to reflect on stuff allows that to happen.

These blogs really have inspired me to do more with my life with and without my family :D
