sooo, I expect the singlespeeders can help me out.
I've been messing about building the rohloff bike up and have found that with my chosen 16T rear and 37t front I have a small chain issue.
Fitted as it is now theres about 3mm tyre clearance to the little chainstay brace. If I add another link, 26mm ish this moves the wheel right to the back of the adjustment (nearly), leaves about 2 or 3mm I guess.
My preference would have been to have the wheel smack in the middle but I guess thats not an option without half links? M experience with half links from long ago was that they were pants.
For now I've set it with the wheel forward but aside from changing chain ring (38 or 39T) does anybody know any other options?
chain lengths etc

Re: chain lengths etc
If it's a brand new chain, leave it as is - when the chain wears and you take up the slack it'll move backwards. 1/2 links are ok - gusset make ones in both 1/8" (SS/track) and 3/16" (8 speed).

I've also fitted a slightly smaller tyre :D
