Not really much of a plan just a bit of an idea of where we'd head for (maybe). Probably good that we're not too adverse to going up as it featured quite heavily ... but we were nearer to heaven than hell should we have died.
An over-night spot was selected on the basis that I'd visited it once before and liked it. Tracks were largely selected at random based on fuddled memory, hunch and luck of the draw. We found lots of interesting and unexpected things along the way which probably slowed our progress but did make us happy - 'twas good.
