Winter Bags

Post by Chew »

Ok, bit late now, but after a few cold nights i'm comtemplating getting a winter bag, as i think i'll get enough use out of it.

Any alternatives to a PD600?

No real urgency as its hopefully not going to get used until later in the year and i can bargin hunt over summer.

When you say winter what temps are you thinking? Just looking round and not much can match a PD600 on spec/price.

I'm liking the look of these as mentioned by InspiredRamblings: http://www.sleepingbags-cumulus.eu/Myst ... gs,45.html Although a little more expensive than a PD600.

I'm also going to say ... have you considered a quilt. In the VFM stakes an Enlightened quilt takes some beating.
May the bridges you burn light your way
