Post chest infection overnighter: tent or bivi bag

Post by pushbikemike »

I signed up for the bivi a month for 2013. Leaving it till last day of January to get my overnighter. Just about recovered from chest infection. Should i bivi or take the one man tent?

In a change from my usual Cavalier attitude, I'll say go with the tent.

How did it go Mike? I was recovering from something similar last week so went for a flat(ish) coastal ride and bivi by the sea. A nice sea breeze (near gale) to blow away the cobwebs! I went with a tent but slept with the door open all night 'cos of the full moon and dry ( ) night..
Feeling better for it this week - hope you got out and enjoyed!

Went out last night. Local loop through cardrona forest and back down gypsy glen. Took the tent. Very cosy if a little restrictive after recent bivis. Coughed up the last of my chest infection. ;)
