Interesting afternoon ... round the world content.

Last Wednesday I went to Mach' to stand 'on the door' and collect money for a young (she is to me) woman called Emily Chappell. She was giving a talk about her solo cycle trip around the world, she's split the trip into 2-3 sections and has just completed the first leg.

Anyway she's giving another talk in that there London on Jan 31st @ Look Mum No Hands at 6.30pm. 49 Old Street, London EC1 9HX.

One usefull bit of advice I picked up was ... don't try and cut cheese with a sharp knife while using your thermorest as a chopping board
