...on my ride today I think it only reasonable and sensible that I demand a fat-bike!!!
Is it asking too much to want to have the correct tool for the job - surely not???
I'm going to have a stern (grovelling) chat with the wife and we'll see what delayed-Santa can muster-up before the winter ends.
Will keep you updated.....
Gairy.
P.s. on a more realistic note - if anyone happens to have a pair of fat-friendly forks not in use I might be interested in taking 'em off your hands as a half-fat would cost next to nothing to put together and might even avoid a kicking from the mrs!
Sorry to burst the bubble but even fat bike would of sucked when the snow gets deep... definitely would be a little better but you would still see some pushing :(

brilliant, thanks a lot - now i can't show the little lady this thread as back-up for my argument!!!
no, you're absolutely right but there is a network of cross-country skiing tracks that are flattened/compressed (or whatever they do to 'em) in the area that I was thinking I could utilise whenever the snow gets too deep elsewhere.
