We went to Mallorca last year.
You can hire MTB or road bikes.

To be fair, Ben nails it.benp1 wrote:I'm going to Lapland
Rovaniemi, great riding and you get to see Santa at his home
Re: Where to go at Christmas
I'm flying in and out of Rovamiemi (22-29 Dec) but will be spending most of the time in Levi
Mainly a Santa and skiing holiday, hopefully with some snow activities like snowmobiling. I'd like a go on a fatbike but I don't know if I'd have time as it's a family holiday
Going to be very expensive but I'm really looking forward to it

I don't know if I'll be cycling either, but like you, I'd like to try it.

I had a look earlier, flights to Malaga are currently bargainous.

I'm actually considering spending a few weeks in Malaga every year. But for further info on that see the "Richard G bitches about the weather" thread.

Re: Where to go at Christmas
I go to Malaga area for a week every Spring. I've often thought it would be a marvellous place for a bikepacking holiday in our winter.
There's still a risk of snow on the hills but temperatures are obviously a lot higher than at home.
Cheap flights aplenty - even once you factor in taking a bike and kit.
